My lovely city of St Augustine turned 450 years old this year! To celebrate, the people of St Augustine did what we do best, we threw the biggest party the city has seen since it was discovered in 1565. Complete with a weekend-long music festival, skits that honor all types of cultures that helped shape our city into what it is now (which even included a reenactment of the running of the bulls on Aviles street by the mayor herself!), and we were incredibly fortunate to receive a visit from the King and Queen of Spain. It has been and incredible year for us who live here in the Oldest City.
People of all ages, from all different parts of the world came to help celebrate 450 years since St Augustine was founded by Pedro Menendez de Aviles.
